Briefly describe four components of a disaster recovery plan.

Natural disasters or human errors can cause severe damage or destroy the whole data center. Hence, the organization should be ready to tackle those disasters using some contingency plans. Disaster recovery from a disaster is an overall responsibility of an organization. Database administrators must develop disaster recovery plans of an organization's data and restore the data operations to their original state.
Components of disaster recovery plan
- The disaster recovery plan should be written in a detailed manner, and regular tests should take place according to the plan.
- The multidisciplinary team will be very apt to carry out the plan. So, select that team and train them.
- Take the backup of data in a secondary location, which is far from that location.
- Produce a backup copy of data periodically and send it to the backup data center at least once per day.
- The data can be sent via courier or transmitted by the software application.
