What is transaction integrity? Why is it important?

Answer

A transaction in the business activity is consists of a series of clearly defined steps. When processing a transaction, one or more records in the database get updated, and business activities are changed. During the transaction process, if an error occurs, it affects the entire database, and then to recover the database, a database recovery facility is required.

Database integrity is required to avoid any errors during business transactions. The action to be taken to enforce successful transactions, database integrity is needed. The action to be taken to implement successful transaction processing is referred to as transaction integrity. The database should be updated only when the transaction process becomes successful. If any transaction process, changes should not be allowed in the database.
